Morocco: and first signs of Spring?

Dear friends,

Buoyed by your comments and emails, I headed to the library early morning, carafe of simmering coffee in hand.  I stared at the empty page and it stared back at me.  But then a most amazing thing occurred. I began to write.  And write......and write.

Thank you for helping me look to the skies.  I am so very grateful.

With love,

Maryam in Marrakesh

I'm sorry I missed your first post, but am so glad that you got wonderful support and that the well has started flowing again.

Wow - your readership is so huge now! Glad you got it sorted out... I just popped in to say I'm swapping internet providers may be taking an enforced break from blogging for a while x

Will we get to see the finished piece? :)

:o)

There was never any doubt in my mind you would... :-) oh and what a great picture! who's the model?

What a great photo.

Love the photo-beautiful pink cheeks! Glad you're out of your slump. There are always peaks and valleys! In fact, there would probably be no peaks without the valleys.
Hugs to you...

Hey Maryam,
So glad you had a breakthrough! I've been slogging away in snowy ashland tryng to figure out how to stay warm while torching in sub freezing weather. Am dreaming of warmer placesn such as your lovely morroco. k

The power of thought and lots of coffee!
The only way forward!

You go girl! :-)))
The photo is splendid, gives the term "environmental portrait" a whole new dimension. I'd like to know more about it, please.
May your day be filled with words,
and happiness,
Merisi

I'm glad you're writing away, I love that photograph!

Awesome! I'm glad!

What a delight to hear you are back in the swing, with renewed inspiration and gusto!
Life has a new suprise for us each day, yes?
And the photograph is suuuuuuperb!

See? We knew it was just a temporary feeling. Glad to hear you got your inspiration back. :)

Welcome back! I was scrolling down the page looking at that fabulous picture and I nearly jumped out of my skin when the eye appeared. What a great picture.

Have been playing catch-up here on your blog. Life has been busy at my place.
Glad to hear you seem to be doing better now.
And wanted to let you know...remember that Hand of Fatima link for door knockers you had awhile ago? I purchased it. Come visit my blog tomorrow about it.
Take care....

Good for you, my friend!! I hope your finished product gives you much satisfaction!
XOXO

Brava, Maryam! I didn't know you were stuck. My rule is to spend my pre-allotted writing time either writing, staring at the blank screen, or pacing. No welcome distractions allowed. A long run of staring and pacing feels a little like praying. You beg the powers beyond you to come on, say something, already. And for better or worse finally they do.

hurrah!!!
xo

Enjoy your sunbath in the cool and perfect temperatures of february before it gets really hot next months.
I dream to see again Marrakech during june when jacaranda trees are flowering on Mohamed V avenue.
