An ornamented muse: mine and yours?
Do you remember her? Do you remember how she captured my imagination? How she fascinated me? How I wanted her? How I needed her? How I had to possess her? How I bought her?
She is my muse. This girl with the tattoos. Her beauty so haunting that I can't help but gaze at her all day long.... flirt with her.....
But decipher her.....? Oh no, not yet.
And now, she can be yours, too. Prints made from the original Lehnert plates. But I have only a few...Please contact me for pricing at (maryam at mtds.com). And let her inspire you, too...

P.S. Many good wishes from Marrakech to jewelery artist Tay MacIntyre of Found Object as she quits her job and follows her own muse. Fay's jewelery is unusual and special - I am especially taken by her starry night ring. Because shouldn't we all have a starry night on our finger?

Maryam, your blog is always so rich and exotic feeling. It's like a tiny little vacation for my mind/eyes when I visit!
I love the jewelry.

Maryam
You are killin me here. Stop selling things! The heat coming off my Visa is mighty toasty....!
How much? What size is she? I adore her coin thingie around her head. And those eyes, well, let's just say I'll have to play around with eyeliner to mimic that look.

I went back to your original post. There is one there with a man and his arms are around a girl, they are seated on a carpet. It is one of the smaller images near the bottom of the post.
Should that one happen to be for sale????

Beautiful, so filled with enchanting charm.
I went to Venezia last Saturday almost forgetting my muse at home, but to my joy she was there with me and came up to the surface after a few days.

Beautiful rings from Tay MacIntyre. Best wishes to her in following her dreams.

Beautiful photo... in lots of the old odalisque paintings and Orientalist pictures, the women were depicted with down turned eyes, submissive to the gaze of the artist. It's nice to see an image where the model stares back at the camera, as challenging as she is inviting. -X

We must be kindred spirits. I like what you like. I'm drawn to the same things as you. She is. Just 'is'.

Hiya Maryam, long time no see...
Your lovely girl here is so mysterious, yet strong; so rebellious, yet so vulnerable... It is a wonderful capture of such various emotions...and one is left wondering which is foremost...
I am wondering where you are these days...are you busy with life? If so, that is good.
Am thinking of you

Just back from Paris, had a fabulous time with Tara wish you could have been there with us. I bought an old handle with 2 peacocks on it. Email me if you want to take a close look. I thought of you when I picked it up.
