Wowza.........Marrakech has *arrived.*  Marrakech is the setting for the March Anthropologie catalogue. ......Gorgeous tiles, lacy plasterwork, fabulous architecture......No wonder I moved to this  city.....

Yay! Morocco seems to be THE Place! Everywhere I look there is something amazing pulled with Moroccan inspiration. Soooo pretty.

How did you know Maryam?

Oh!! I love the pictures and I also realise that I have to take a trip soon to your beautiful country :-) I love this colours you have and the marocco style. :-) You are so lucky for living in this beautiful city and country :-)

Do you know a cd who have a mix of loungemusic with a twist of marocco music? Lots of the Riads plays this kind of music, but I havent found a cd with it. Do you know?

Oooh...beautiful settings! I particularly like that mosaic walls. I was just in Anthropologie yesterday...it's such an inspiring store.

if you have this model's email address can you tell her i will marry her right now

Oh wow! I LOVE the outfit with the wide leg pants and the fun hoodie. And those photos are all gorgeous, what a magical place you live in Miss Marrakesh.

Yum. I do love me some Anthropologie, but here the clothes totally take a backseat to the city! Gorgeous, gorgeous. I WILL visit some day!

Have been buying soap and sun glasses in Anthropologie.
I think some of the shots were done in the Merersa Ben Yussef?
How cool are we.............

I just got my catalog today and thought of you! And now it is on your blog. I don't kow what is prettiest, the clothes, the model, or the city. I'll take the city!

The detail on these buildings is georgeous and I agree the clothing takes a back seat to the architecture.

Just shows you how well Peacock Pavilions will go over; everyone will want to be visiting soon, me too!

Can you believe it? I'm speechless.

i like them, i just wish they would lower their prices a bit hehe...great shots.

Wow! How come I don't look like that standing in the middle of a busy street? I guess I just need to shop at Anthropologie! LOL!

Those clothes are beautiful! Of course, I'd have to grow about a foot-and-a-half so that they'd look as good on me as they do on her...

Love that beige bag as well!

Oh, I love Anthropologie. Such nice clothes. Just too bad they don't have my 'tall' size... oh - and that they're in the States and I'm not ;-)

BTW Maryam - the first link, the one to Anthropologie, needs to be fixed...

What great pictures! That's the Medersa Ben Youssef, isn't it (the interior shots) - there's nowhere else it could be, I think.

Now if you had known they were coming you could have modeled for them.

These pictures are a feast for the eyes! I bet the catalogue looks stunning. They've done a great job matching the colours of the clothes to the architecture - very artistic.

Wow - gorgeous pictures! And a gorgeous country! I would love to see it in person someday...

Isn't it divine??? I wish I had told you too!!! By the way, I found a magazine, I must scan and send!! xoxo

hi,dear friend, i just post a wondful post about the moroccan arabic handwriting of my my friend, hope you will love it

Maryam, thanks for the scoop and compliment - You are so very sweet! Me thinks though that YOU should be in a great fashion & travel editorial in your home town! (hint hint journalists and publishers who read this blog)!

It scares me that I have pictures of those exact tiles - ok maybe a little left or right. I miss the Jemma El Fna, or as my friend called it, the big square. There's such a great energy there, and all over Marrakech. I wish I was coming soon and could bring you something.

Oh yes.....I did think of you when I got this catalog.

Wish those airfares would come down...

This in my opinion was the best catalog from them in a long time....I am in love and now wanting to visit Marrakech again more than ever.
XOX
