You wander, street after street, alleyway after alleyway. It is there that swanky carpet stores jostle elbows with humble junk stalls. It is there that that black T-shirt-wearing merchants vie for your attention along side turban swathed sellers. Goods of all shapes and sizes call out to you - the fantastical lamps, the coin covered bikinis, the multi-colored water pipes, the delicious dates, the aromatic spices, the Bedouin jewelery. It's all so dangerously covetable. It's all so terribly enticing. Your brain buzzes, your wallet empties, your bag fills. You have fallen under the spell of the Khan El Khalili. And by the time you realize, it's too late, far, far too late.....
