She had a problem with lust, she had a problem with desire, she had a problem with coveting....
She knew she was married but she couldn't help herself.... You see, she whispered, she was easily seduced by Good Looks. Call her vain, call her superficial, call her shallow -- it was no worse than what she called herself. Tell her she would have regrets, tell her she would have misgivings, tell her she would have qualms......the next morning; no matter -- it would do no good.
You see, it was stronger than she was. When she saw how very handsome..... how very attractive...... how very wantonly wanted they were.....she found herself...crossing over to dangerous territory.
Her lips parted in anticipation, her hands reached out to touch, her fingers began to stroke.....without even the most perfunctory introductions. (Oh shame! Oh shame!)
The end result was this.......
Some of her vintage embroideries from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan...
A few of her hand-loomed vintage cream, white, and black blankets from Mali and Morocco.
Patchwork carpets made out of vintage kilims from Turkey and Iran, and a tattooed and sequined kilim from Morocco.
Just part of her vintage striped blanket collection from Morocco. Who says these heavy blankets can't be used as rugs?
