It wasn't the first time that she had seen magical beings in these parts. Indeed, it wasn't even the second time. But nonetheless, this latest sighting came as a remarkable surprise.
What ever was she talking about....?
Why the often-whispered-about-but-rarely-seen-in-the-last-century....... Moroccan Almond Blossom Fairies.
Fortuitously, during a mid-afternoon stroll, she happened to spy one climbing out of a Moroccan almond tree.

Frankly, these enchanted creatures were quite a bit larger than she had expected. (She had previously thought that several could fit comfortably in a thimble. But apparently, access to unlimited hot fudge brownie sundaes had taken its toll........ ) Why, as you can see, they were astonishingly almost life sized!

And they seemed to travel in flocks, as two other fairies soon climbed out of the very same tree.......!
Wanting to learn more about the ways of these mysterious sprites, the blogging girl had quickly hidden behind a shrub so as to observe them in their natural habitat.
A zoom lens had allowed her to capture these incredible close ups undetected.........

Now you might be wondering: What exactly distinguishes the Moroccan Almond Blossom Fairies from other sorts of fairies (say the Granny Smith Apple Fairies, for example)? Well the blogging girl now knew the answer. It was (drum roll please.......) *almond blossoms.* (What? You were expecting some kind of trick question?)
Now before you roll your eyes back in mock despair, she had actually seen one of the fairies cast a spell (?!?!) on an almond tree.....!
It started with a little tap of a wand....
And then a little wave....
And then all the almond blossoms came tumbling down....
Surely, you must agree.....nothing short of amazing.....
PS And yes, in case you were wondering, People Magazine had, indeed, contacted her in the hopes of procuring an exclusive on these never-before-seen photos. But, naturally, she couldn't compromise her principles for a mere hundred thousand dollars or two.
